Charlotte-Mecklenburg now operates Coordinated Assessment (CA) system which aims to connect homeless individuals and families, or those at imminent risk, to existing available shelters/housing resource in our community. Coordinated Assessmentは、ホームレスの特定の定義を使用している。 ホームレスとは、以下のような人である。

• 人が住むための場所ではない場所に住んでいる、または
• 緊急シェルター（DVシェルターを含む）に住んでいる、または
• 過渡的住宅に住んでいる人。 または
• 一時的に90日以内滞在した施設を出る（その施設に入る直前はシェルターまたは人の居住を目的としない場所にいた）、または
• 今後72時間以内に上記の定義のいずれかに該当する可能性がある。

What Coordinated Assessment IS.とは？

– 現在ホームレスの人、または72時間以内にホームレスになる人を評価し、その人のニーズと状況に合った郡内の住宅資源を紹介するプロセスです。

– 調整評価プロセスに入る人の資格を評価し、利用可能な住宅オプションを紹介するための訓練を受けたスタッフのいる指定された場所のネットワーク。

-スペースが空いていれば、積極的に紹介する。 スペースに空きがない場合は、待機者リストに入れられることがある。
