Sonic Scope 2016
The Sonic Scope Festival was born in September 2001 from an initiative by two sound and visual artists, Nuno Moita and João Vicente (the intermedia artist, André Gonçalves, joined the core team in the
2002 edition), who founded subsequently the publishing platform, Grain of Sound. The aim of this annual event is to give the opportunity to show, in a single context, new languages or new proposals of striking experimental Portuguese projects, where possible in direct confrontation with foreign bids.
Grain of Sound has programmed the festival since 2002.
